Ingredients and Content
- 1 Cup Rice
- 1/2 Cup black gram (Urad dal)
- 2 Tsp fenugreek Seeds
- 2 Tsp oil
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
Method
- Soak the rice, dal and the fenugreek seeds overnight.
- Next grind them along with the required quantity of water and salt to a smooth batter.
- Leave the batter aside for a few hours to ferment.
- Spread 1 big spoonful of batter on a hot tava. When the base is golden, spread 1 teaspoon oil over its edges, turn over and cook the other side.
- Serve hot with sambhar or chutney.
